Being comfortable with discomfort According to John Cleese, creativity requires “giving your mind as long as possible to come up with something original, and learning to tolerate the discomfort of pondering time and indecision.” http://www.brainpickings.org/index.php/2012/04/12/john-cleese-on-creativity-1991/ Today I am enjoying a bit of a time out on deciding the final details for the presentation aspects of my ten image portfolio. I’ll keep circling around until I find someplace nice to land. Seeing this validation is just the wisdom I needed to relax and let the subconscious cogitation do its work.

Sunrise Memories Enjoyment can be found in simple things. This is a small antique cookie cutter which I’ve enjoyed looking at and making images with for the last twelve weeks. These colors remind me of a sunrise, which is nice to think of since today is gray and rainy.
